Innapanda is owned and run by Charlie Barrowcliffe. Charlie has worked in IT for twenty years, with over ten years' experience in ecommerce and web development.
As a business analyst and project manager for the software company Triptych Systems Ltd, his work included developing Bestseller, the leading bookshop management product for independent booksellers in the UK, which was installed in one hundred and fifty sites. He also developed a customer ordering system for WH Smith that was rolled out to over 400 sites and won a BT Award for innovative use of communications technology.
Charlie's team at Triptych also produced bookpages.co.uk, a website which became the UK's leading online book retailer and was bought out by Amazon and developed the web site that Last Minute.Com were using when they were floated for £316 million in 2000.
For the last 5 years Charlie has been trading as innapanda, working with a group of other independent professionals to provide bespoke solutions to small businesses.
"Some jobs I can do on my own, sometimes I need to bring a few people in to help, but the great thing is that I can work with exactly the right team for each job so we keep the overheads low and offer great value to the customers."
The key to innapanda is the fact that all of us are independent - some of the team run their own companies, some work for big companies, we all pass work on to each other selecting the right person to do each job so the customer gets the best possible service.
